Request Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go! If you'd like to delete your BookAPT account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your BookAPT account, the following information will be permanently removed:

  • Your user profile and account information
  • Your contact details (name, email, phone number, address)
  • Your appointment history
  • Your payment information (payment methods will be removed from our system)
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Any messages or communications stored in your account

Note: Some information may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to:

  • Recover any of your data
  • Access your appointment history
  • Retrieve payment receipts or transaction records
  • Log back into BookAPT with the same credentials

If you have any active appointments or pending payments, please resolve them before requesting account deletion.

What to Include in Your Email

Please include the following information in your account deletion request:

  1. Your full name (as it appears in your BookAPT account)
  2. Your registered email address (the one you used to create your BookAPT account)
  3. Your phone number (if registered)
  4. Confirmation statement: "I confirm that I want to permanently delete my BookAPT account and all associated data."
  5. Reason for deletion (optional, but helps us improve)

Processing Time

We will process your account deletion request within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

Alternative: Delete from the App

You can also request account deletion directly from the BookAPT app:

  1. Open the BookAPT app
  2. Go to Profile or Settings
  3. Scroll down to find Account Settings
  4. Tap on Delete Account or Request Account Deletion
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions

Your Privacy Rights

BookAPT is committed to protecting your privacy and respecting your rights. In addition to account deletion, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data (this page)
  • Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data
  • Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a portable format

These rights are provided under GDPR (for EU users) and CCPA (for California users).

Business Owner Accounts

If you are a business owner with a BookAPT business account, please note:

  • Deleting your business owner account will also delete your business listing
  • All appointments associated with your business will be cancelled
  • Any pending payments or balances will need to be resolved before account deletion
  • Please contact us if you need assistance transferring your business to another owner
